The client has also the right to file a complaint when they feel their service provider did not uphold the services they promised to them.  Lastly, the customer has the right to suspend or terminate the subscription whenever he chooses.  Terminating a subscription sometimes is inconvenient because phone companies do not terminate right away your subscription.    Other service provider will require you to pay or entice you in their promotion and other packages.  If this is the case, you could report them to a government agency for an appropriate action.</p>
<p>The other important service that a customer must also know is the lifeline services.  What are these lifeline services?  These services are offered to who are eligible.  Companies give discounts on these services like family assistance, food stamps, safety net assistance and medic aid.  Customers can apply to avail on these services.  If you are eligible then there would be no reason to miss out on these beneficial services.<br />
<span id="more-7"></span>In the event that you are disabled, there are special privileges that a customer is entitled to.  Subscribers are entitled to the “special needs” service.  Special needs do not only apply for customers who are disabled but it is also for 62 year old and older.  It is also for customers who are dependent on life sustaining or health related equipment.  In the event of nonpayment phone companies must give special considerations.  Subscribers could also report payment problems.  It can be a valid reason for payment delays.  The service provider should give assistance to make it easier for clients belonging in this category to pay.  The example of which is that providing billing statements which is in large print for easy readability.  The service provider could also provide the best payment schemes like paying through mail or through the internet.  This would make it easier for subscribers to pay on time.  However, this service would not be available unless you apply for it.  If you are or you know someone who belongs in the special needs category you need to inform them of this service.</p>
